2SIS Story
2SIS is a hip cosmetic line for college-aged girls that began with two sisters' passion for wearing and sharing make-up. As young girls, Danica and Darah Grimm were already make-up connoisseurs, unaware their little girl fun would one day turn into big girl ingenuity. The sisters grew and so did their fascination with cosmetics. In high school, Danica and Darah began modeling and soon developed a keen sense of make-up styles and trends and, in turn, excitedly shared them with all their girlfriends.

But it wasn't until both sisters left home for college that the idea of starting 2SIS cosmetics began to take shape. Danica, majoring in art, traveled to Europe and immersed herself in learning the details of the face, its contours, shadows and the intricacies of color with painting Masters in Florence, Italy. Following in her big sisters' footsteps, Darah, headed off to college a few years later to major in Sociology. During her studies in both the U.S. and Europe she unearthed an inner need to create and share opportunities.
As the sisters began to think of careers after college, two things were certain...their love for wearing and sharing make-up, and their desire to start a business together. As college-aged girls themselves, Danica and Darah knew what young women their age wanted from their cosmetics and knew they could deliver it.

Their idea was to create a make-up line that blends the latest beauty trends with the basic needs of college-aged girls in a way that's both functional and fun. The result - cosmetics simple enough for the lecture hall, yet sassy enough for the next fraternity party. Working closely with cosmetic industry leaders and celebrity make-up artists, Danica and Darah also made sure 2SIS products met the highest standards for quality ingredients and performance. |
